Level 1 Award in Health and Safety for Manufacturing
This qualification focuses on the importance of maintaining health and safety in a manufacturing environment. Candidates will understand the hazards associated with operating dangerous equipment, handling hazardous goods and moving and handling products. The importance of machinery guards, cut out switches and other safety devices will be understood. The importance of following company health and safety rules and procedures will be understood.
