First Aid at Work (and Re-qualification)

A Qualification achieved through a 3-day course that includes all the features of the EFAW and also equips the first-aider to administer first aid to a range of specific injuries and illness.

It is a requirement of Health & Safety law that employers should ensure the health and safety and welfare of their employees and the public. Employees must also provide adequate personnel, training and equipment to render first aid to their employees.

This qualification covers the 3 day First Aid at Work course and the 2 day First Aid at Work re-qualification course. Clear guidelines are given to centres running a re-qualification course.

All successful students will be issued with a new First Aid at Work Certificate which lasts for a period of 3 years, along with a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualifications.
